Are you a sceptical? In the opening of this Website, I mentioned that you may be sceptical that a plan for your project or business operation could be effectively done in a day. I understand your doubt and I'm okay with you being sceptical. In many ways, being sceptical can make good sense. I see it as my job to put forward a clear explanation that make sense to you and your situation. So you be the judge Managing detail To keep this mini-seminar interesting and fast moving, I will need to skim through some details. However, there should be sufficient logic for you to understand the fundamentals. Making a mind shift To achieve the goal of making planning simple, faster and better, I'm going to ask you to think about the planning process from a different perspective. The business jargon for this is making a 'paradigm shift'. For some, this is may be a significantly different approach to planning. However for a few, the APT approach may feel very natural. For these people, APT should validate and reinforce their natural thinking skills. This may happen to you As you and I go through this material it's likely that questions will come up for you. "But how would APT handle this... and how would it handle that etc" Here's what I suggest. Hang on to your queries until I have completed this mini-seminar. By the time I have finished this session, I should have given you the principles to handle most of your queries. However, at the end you still have unanswered questions, I am open to reasonable questions and answers by e-mail. If needed, I will add a 'Frequently Asked Questions' section to this tutorial. l |
